About

Welcome to The Hockey Mom

I’m Carrie

I’m a hockey mom just like you, who a few years ago was totally new to the youth ice hockey community. With two kids playing 12U and 14U I know just how difficult it can be to find the information you and your hockey player need to not only excel, but enjoy this sport and the community to it’s fullest.

At The Hockey Mom, I understand the unique challenges and joys of parenting in the world of youth ice hockey. My blog is dedicated to providing parents with valuable insights, tips, and resources to navigate this exciting journey. Whether you’re a seasoned hockey parent or just starting out, I aim to create a supportive community where you can find information and share experiences. Join me as we explore the ins and outs of youth sports, helping you to foster a love for the game in your children while balancing family life.

The mission of The Hockey Mom is to empower parents with the knowledge and tools they need to support their young athletes. We believe that youth sports should be a positive experience for both children and parents.

As a new hockey parent, you may feel overwhelmed by the fast-paced world of youth sports. Remember, every parent was once a beginner, and our community is here to support you every step of the way. Together, we can make youth ice hockey a memorable and positive experience for our children.

Thank you for visiting The Hockey Mom! I hope you find this blog is helpful and inspiring as you embark on this exciting journey of hockey parenting. Remember, you are not alone; we are all here to support you and your family every step of the way.
